EARTHQUAKE PREPARATION
INFORMATION LINKS
March 16, 2018
There is a lot of earthquake preparedness
information right now and many sites on the internet have
extensive coverage of how to prepare for earthquakes. I
have been sent emails containing quite a few very interesting
links to this information and have listed them below as I
receive them.

Hello,
I’m writing to you in the midst of a fun project I’m working
on with a group of elementary school students who I volunteer
with each Tuesday afternoon. We’re currently learning about
science using hands-on activities; as we go, I’ve been
compiling a list of resources for teachers and parents (which
we’ll be listing in our resource bank at
http://educatorlabs.org/resources/).
This week we learned about what causes earthquakes, which led
us to your website, and one of the students worried that
someone who may want to learn more about earthquakes wouldn’t
know where to go. I got to thinking that actually, it WOULD be
a good idea to share some of the resources I’ve come across.
Perhaps you could use them on your website to help educate
others, as quality resources are so valuable and can really
make a difference to both students interested in the how and
why, and anyone worried about the damage earthquakes can do.
So without further ado, here are a few sites that I’m hoping
will be of use to you:

By the way, while I was looking for contact info on your site,
I happened across a link that isn’t working anymore, so
thought I should pass along the info. It’s a link to recent
earthquake info at
http://earthquake.usgs.gov/recenteqsww/Quakes/quakes_all.html,
but it looks like that page may have moved to
http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/, in case you
want to update that info (it’s on this page:

Best wishes,

ANOTHER GREAT LINK FOR
INFORMATION!
My name is Keri and I am a Science
teacher. Your site is fantastic and I've been using your page
http://www.endtimesreport.com/EARTHQUAKE_PREPARATION_INFORMATION_LINKS.html
as a resource material for my class. I have found another
useful resource that I'm now also using:
https://usinsuranceagents.com/earthquake-preparedness
I have read the article and found it to be exceptionally
educational which is why I decided to write to you. If you
can add it to your resource page, I think it would be helpful
to others as well. Please let me know any
comments you have.
Sincerely,
Keri Evans

There are few things as scary as an earthquake. When and where
they’ll strike cannot be predicted, and once they hit, the
only thing we can do is wait them out. Although they’re a
formidable force of nature, there is a lot we can do to
protect ourselves and our homes from earthquakes and the
damage they cause. With that in mind, are you able to add a
few additional resources to one of your safety pages, like
this one -
http://prepperinfo.us/almanac/quickening.html?
It looks like you’ve already included some great earthquake
safety info there, so these should fit right in:
